Sozo Ministry

Sozo is the Greek word that encompasses “Salvation” of “The spirit, soul and body,” otherwise known as the “Whole Man” or the entire being of a person.

WPCMI’s Sozo Ministry is the extended ministry of Christ and as such it proclaims the truth and testimony of Christ through His Word and His Works. Sozo Ministry is focused on bringing people into a place where they can experience all of the benefits of Christ’s redemption. This includes salvation to the sprits, souls and bodies of believers. Sozo Ministry is WPCMI’s deliverance ministry where God’s will and power meet our faith and results are realized. It is the ministry where God draws near to the broken in spirit, where souls find healing and rest from torment and affliction and mortal bodies are divinely touched by God.

We offer teachings on deliverance for “The Whole Man.” Christ queried “Will you be made whole?” Though He was asking one man this question, He was speaking to all men. The question to all who would believe is do you desire to be made completely well? Not just in the body, but in spirit and in soul as well. Wholeness is Christ’s will for His people. By this the Father is glorified through the ministry of Christ.

According to the grace given, WPCMI preaches and teaches the truth of the gospel of the Kingdom of God to the poor and brokenhearted, proclaims liberty to those held captive by addictions and vices, and restores spiritual and physical sight to the blind and spiritual and physical health to the souls and bodies of those receptive to the gospel.

So the multitude marveled when they saw the mute speaking, the maimed made whole, the lame walking, and the blind seeing; and they glorified the God of Israel. [Matthew 15:31]
WPCMI’s Sozo ministry like all other sub-ministries of WPCMI, relies on the Wisdom and Power of God to deliver captives. The Wisdom of God is essential to accurately identifying the root of the problem (stronghold) and the power of God makes Himself present to deliver whenever and wherever His Spirit-filled Word is given and obeyed. In WPCMI’s Sozo Ministry, the hearers need only be receptive to God’s present and living words and put faith to the test, the Lord Himself will take over and do the rest.
